In less than a week, ImpactCity will head to San Francisco for the 11th edition of SoCap (Social Capital Markets), the world's leading conference activating the capital markets to drive positive social and environmental impact. This conference brings together impact investors, social entrepreneurs, philanthropists, business leaders, and other innovators from across the world in a unique cross-sector approach to catalyze collaboration for change.
Since 2008, SOCAP has hosted over 20,000 attendees from more than 70 countries, uniting voices across a broad spectrum to catalyze impactful and sometimes unexpected connections. ImpactCity will be at SoCap to connect with like-minded changemakers, explore the latest trends and seek new opportunities to create global impact. The ultimate goals is to connect with social entrepreneurs who are looking for an impact startup ecosystem that can scale up their business. ImpactCity can help such startups by providing access to markets, relevant networks, capital, workspace, create visibility and facilitate experiments.
The Hague Delegation
Furthermore, The Hague's very own impact startups Yapili, Kumbaya, HumanSurge, and People's Pension will also be at SoCap to explore new ways to scale up their business. This conference is the place for impact startups that are looking to further develop their (international) network, connect to investors and new clients.
Dutch boost for entrepreneurship
For this mission to SoCap, ImpactCity has teamed up with RVO, Social Enterprise NL, the municipalities of Amsterdam(Amsterdam Impact) and Rotterdam, PwC the Netherlands, Enviu and The Netherlands Consulate General in San Francisco. The goal of this Dutch Mission for Social Entrepreneurs is to further boost social entrepreneurship, create successful international collaborations and promote the Dutch Social Entrepreneur Ecosystem worldwide.
